How to Use the 3D Print Maker

  1. Upload your photo. Drop in any image you want to turn into a 3D object.
  2. Pick a mode.
    • Lithophane — the image gets mapped onto a thin panel. Thick where dark, thin where light. Hold it up to a lamp and the image glows through. These make beautiful night lights.
    • Stamp — the image becomes a raised surface you can press into clay, fondant, or soft materials.
    • Cookie Cutter — the dark shapes in your image become the outline of a cutter. Great for custom holiday cookies.
  3. Set your dimensions. Adjust width, thickness, and the other settings with the sliders. Numbers update as you drag.
  4. Hit Generate. A 3D preview appears that you can spin around with your mouse. Scroll to zoom in and out.
  5. Download your STL. Open it in your slicer — Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, whatever you use — and you're ready to print.
