Resin Calculator

Put in your mold size and mix ratio, and you'll get the exact amounts for both the resin and the hardener. No more waste.

How to Use the Resin Calculator

  1. Start with a preset or go custom. The Quick Start dropdown has common mold sizes — coasters, keychains, trays, and more. Pick one and the dimensions fill in automatically. If yours isn't listed, leave it on Custom and type in your numbers.
  2. Choose your shape. Rectangle or circle. Enter the dimensions in inches.
  3. Set your mix ratio. Check the label on your resin — most brands are 1:1, but some use 2:1 or 3:1. Pick the one that matches yours.
  4. Filling more than one mold? Change the mold count and the total updates automatically.
  5. Leave the waste buffer on. That extra 10% is there because resin always clings to the mixing cup, and running dry mid-pour is a real pain. Only uncheck it if you need the exact theoretical amount.
  6. Hit Calculate. You'll get the total amount to mix, plus how much resin and how much hardener to measure out separately.
  7. Print your results. Handy to have at your workbench so you're not running back to the browser mid-project.
